Position Summary

Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for supporting customers with power system solutions, battery systems, and DC power products through inbound and outbound sales activities. They work closely with customers to understand their power needs, provide technical support, process orders, and maintain strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries and provide technical product information and pricing for power systems, batteries, UPS systems, and DC power solutions. Process customer orders, quotes, and follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular communication and support. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate power system solutions.
  • Coordinate with outside sales, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Provide pre-sales technical support and product specifications.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in CRM system. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Support marketing initiatives including trade shows, product launches, and promotional campaigns. Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
  • Handle customer service issues and coordinate with appropriate departments for resolution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. 1-3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in technical or industrial products.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and database management.
  • Ability to understand technical product specifications and communicate effectively with customers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer service oriented with problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based position with extensive computer work and phone communication.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • May require travel to customer sites or trade shows up to 10% of the time.

Pre-Employment Requirements

All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the following pre-employment screenings:

These screenings are conducted once, prior to hire, and are not part of a recurring or annual testing program. However, employees remain subject to Reasonable Suspicion and Post-Accident drug and alcohol testing in accordance with company policy.
